Terms of Service

Terminal Click (the “Software”) is in Early Access. Usage is subject to these Terms of Service.

1. Subscription Tiers & What You Get

  • TC Supporter — $5/mo: monthly beta builds.
  • TC Member — $10/mo: monthly beta builds + priority email support.
  • TC Premium — $20/mo: monthly beta builds + priority email support + VIP channel access.

While you remain an active subscriber you will receive a Proton Drive download link to the latest version. The tiers and pricing above may be updated with advance notice.

Occassionally we may have a month without new versions due to implementation difficulty of new features or bug fixes. Additional reasons include business logistics, server maintenance or dealing with a personal emergency. The subscriber is typically given a heads up through email newsletters.

2. Access, Download & Ownership

  • As long as you remain subscribed you get access to a Proton Drive download link containing the latest build. Downloads are provided as offline binaries. The terminal copies you download during a monthly subscription are yours to own, unless a refund was requested. This ownership does not imply continued access to Proton Drive after subscription cancellation.

3. Cancellation & Loss of Access

  • You may cancel Early Access at any time by emailing abner@terminal.click. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle unless otherwise stated. After cancellation you will lose access to the Proton Drive download link(s). You may keep any binary you downloaded prior to cancellation.

4. Right to Cancel Subscriptions

  • Terminal Click (the founder/owner) reserves the right to suspend or cancel subscriptions for any reason unless prohibited by applicable law. If we cancel your subscription without cause we will provide notice and, where appropriate, a pro rata refund. You may keep any binary you downloaded prior to cancellation.

5. Changes to Terms

  • We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and, when practical, notice to subscribers. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • The Software is provided “as-is” in Early Access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terminal Click disclaims all warranties and limits liability for damages related to the Software or subscription fees. Check local law for consumer protections that may apply.

Refund Policy

  • 14-day refund window: You may request a full refund within 14 days of becoming a first-time subscriber. To request a refund, email abner@terminal.click with your account email, order number (or billing date), and a short reason.

  • Access and downloads: When we grant your refund request for a given billing cycle, Terminal Click may revoke access to the Proton Drive link for that cycle; you must stop using any terminal copies obtained solely as part of that refunded purchase.

  • After 14 days: Refunds are not provided except in narrow circumstances. Specifically, if you can provide reasonable evidence that you were unable to access the Proton Drive for the full duration of a billing cycle (e.g. due to Terminal Click’s negligence), we will consider a refund for that affected cycle.

  • How we process: Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case. If approved, refunds are limited to the charged amount for the affected cycle and are issued back to the original payment method when possible.

Privacy Policy

  • Information collected: Name, email address, or anything our payment processor makes available.
  • How we use it: To process subscription payments, send Proton Drive links and transactional messages, and respond to cancellation or support requests.
  • Sharing: We do not sell your personal data. We may share necessary info with our payment processor to complete transactions.
  • Retention: We retain this info as needed to provide appropriate service, for billing and legal compliance, or until you request deletion where applicable by law.
