Terms of Service

Terminal Click (the “Software”) is in Early Access. Usage is subject to these Terms of Service.

1. Subscription Tiers & What You Get

TC Supporter: $5/mo. Monthly beta builds.
TC Member: $10/mo. Monthly beta builds + priority email support.
TC Premium: $20/mo. Monthly beta builds + priority email support + VIP channel access.

Occassionally we may have a month without new versions due to implementation difficulty of new features or bug fixes. The subscriber is typically given a heads up through email newsletters.

2. Access, Download & Ownership

Downloads are provided as offline binaries. The terminal copies you download while subscribed are yours to own, unless a refund was requested. This ownership does not imply access to new downloads after canceling a subscription.

3. Your Right to Cancel a Subscription

You may cancel Early Access any time by searching for Paddle’s email titled Your subscription to Terminal Click. Paddle is our Merchant of Record: they manage all tax collection, subscriber requests and disputes on our behalf.
If you can’t find the email titled Your subscription to Terminal Click, visit Paddle to locate the subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle unless otherwise stated. After cancellation you will lose access to downloads. You may keep any binary downloaded prior to losing access.

Note to Legacy Stripe Users

Stripe subscribers may cancel Early Access any time by emailing abner@terminal.click. If you wish to switch to Paddle, talk to us to begin the transition.

4. Terminal Click’s Right to Cancel a Subscription

Terminal Click reserves the right to suspend or cancel subscriptions for any reason unless prohibited by applicable law. If we cancel a subscription without cause we will provide notice and, where appropriate, a pro rata refund. You may keep any binary downloaded prior to cancellation.

5. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and, when appropriate, notice to subscribers. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided “as-is” in Early Access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terminal Click disclaims all warranties and limits liability for damages related to the Software or subscription fees. Check local law for consumer protections that may apply.

Refund Policy

14-day refund window: You may request a full refund within 14 days of becoming a first-time subscriber. To request a refund, locate your subscription first.
Access and downloads: When we grant your refund request, Terminal Click may revoke access to your download link for that biling cycle. You MUST STOP using any terminal copies obtained as part of that refunded purchase.
After 14 days: Refunds are not provided except in narrow circumstances. Specifically, we will consider a refund if you can provide evidence you were unable to access downloads for the duration of a billing cycle (due to our own negligence.)
How we process: Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case. If approved, refunds are limited to the charged amount for the affected cycle and are issued back to the original payment method when possible.

Privacy Policy

Information collected: Name, email address, or anything our Merchant of Record makes available.
How we use it: To process subscriptions, such as sending download links.
Sharing: We never sell personal data.
Retention: We retain customer info to provide reasonable service and for billing or legal compliance.
Requests: For privacy requests (access, correction, deletion) reach out to our Merchant of Record.
